Program Description: Red cell alloimmunization may occur during or after blood transfusions, evoking the immune system to produce alloantibodies. This program focuses on the induced response and reviews clinically significant versus clinically insignificant alloantibodies in patients who receive multiple transfusions with an emphasis on case examples.
